Ground Rules

Gates will be closed and locked after entering and exiting, as part of the club rules. If a gate is found open, please ensure it is closed and locked. A member’s assigned key must not be given to anyone or duplicated. 

All non-members must be guests accompanied by a Club member. Non-members should be signed in and out with the caretaker under the supervision of a Club member. The member is responsible for their guest, in accordance with our ground rules, ensuring compliance with the Everglades Conservation efforts.

Buggies and buggy trailers must park in the approved area only, which is located south of the Clubhouse, in accordance with club rules. Storage of buggies and buggy trailers in campsite areas is prohibited. Only buggies belonging to members or active applicants may be parked on Club grounds. To adhere to the ground rules, all buggies, trailers, and personal property kept on the premises must have the owner's name prominently displayed.

Parking on the Clubhouse lawn is not allowed. The designated parking areas include the stretches of lawn on either side of the road extending from the gate to the rear of the Clubhouse. This is in line with our commitment to Everglades Conservation and preserving the natural environment.

Drivers are also reminded to maintain a maximum speed limit of 5 miles per hour.

All wildlife on the club grounds is protected under our club rules. No shooting, no throwing of rocks, and no chasing of wildlife will be allowed, in accordance with Everglades Conservation efforts and our ground rules.

No loaded weapons will be allowed on the Club grounds, except in approved range areas, as part of our club rules. Members must also comply with all ground rules and guidelines posted in each range area, ensuring a safe environment that aligns with Everglades Conservation efforts.

Camping is permitted only in approved areas in accordance with club rules. Campfires are allowed exclusively in designated spots, and no camping is allowed on the Clubhouse lawn to uphold ground rules and support Everglades Conservation efforts.

All garbage shall be placed in garbage bags, and when full, it should be hauled away or disposed of in dumpsters next to the buggy work shed. According to club rules, it is the responsibility of members to take home any trash that will not fit in the dumpsters, in line with our ground rules for Everglades Conservation.

In accordance with club rules, no member may use another member’s equipment without first presenting written permission from the owner to the caretaker. This permit must be countersigned by the borrower and subsequently returned by the caretaker to the lender. Should the permit not meet these ground rules, the lender retains the right to file a grievance with the Grievance Committee, in line with Everglades Conservation principles.

The pit area shall not be used for anything other than authorized club functions, in accordance with club rules and established ground rules, including Everglades Conservation guidelines.

In accordance with the club rules, dogs will not be permitted to chase wildlife on Club grounds. To comply with these ground rules and promote Everglades Conservation, all dogs must remain on leashes at all times and will not be allowed to run loose.

The area around all personal property must be maintained in accordance with club rules. This includes necessary weed-eating and/or mowing, following the ground rules established for Everglades Conservation efforts. See Below.

All members are accountable for their conduct as well as that of their family and guests, in accordance with the club rules. Maintaining your area is vital; failure to do so will result in a cleanup fee, payable upon receipt of notice, as part of our ground rules that support Everglades Conservation.
