Range Safety Rules

The Flag at the Everglades Conservation Sportsman Club is not visible from everywhere, so you must look for it just east of the shooting area. We have installed three sections of yellow plastic chain at each of the three access points to the back: one at the trail at the south end of the buggy stalls, one at the pit trail, and one at the gate to the Prairie. Before using the range, please ensure that these chains are across the entrances as part of our safety protocols. It is essential for members to communicate to their children and guests the importance of these shooting range rules, which prohibit passing through the chains under any circumstances. An air horn has been placed at the shooting range to signal when you are about to shoot, serving as an indicator for others in the area that someone is preparing to shoot.
